The Pardee Graduate Council at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies invites abstract submissions of approximately 300 words for its fifth annual Graduate Student Conference, which will be held at Boston University February 19-20, 2016.

Papers should address the thematic focus of “shifting global systems” by identifying dynamic changes taking place globally and assessing their propensity to impact relationships around the world. Submissions must be the product of graduate research, either at the MA or PhD level. Expected papers should be between 20 and 50 pages double-spaced, and presentations will be 15 minutes with time for questions afterwards.

Panels will be organized into themes based on accepted papers. Proposed panel topics include trade and finance; media and communication; environmental governance; human development; political systems and ideologies; and religion and beliefs
