The Institute for Security, Defense and Peace, at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, for their 40th anniversary they are organizing an international scientific conference entitled Contemporary Security Paradigms and Challenges: Theory and Practice. The aim of this event is to bring together scholars from Macedonia and abroad for an exchange of views and perspectives on the most important security-related issues for the world in the 21st century. Given the complex research interests and the curricula that have been developed almost simultaneously in the fields of security, defense and peace studies, the idea is to put forth an interdisciplinary approach with a dialogue among disciplines and various schools of thought.
Interested candidates should submit short abstract (500 words max.) until 12 April 2015 at tmilosevska@gmail.com. Conference papers will be published in a special volume. For any further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Program Secretary, Dr. Tanja Milosevska.
