IBEC encourages, but not limits, submissions related to the cross-discipline theme of “Sustainability in Business and Economics”. The topics FOR IBEC 2016 include, but are not limited to:

Both practitioners and scholars are encouraged to submit company case studies.

Important Dates

  • Early Submission Deadline: August 1st, 2015
  • Regular Submission Deadline: September 15th, 2015
  • Decision notifications sent to authors: August 31st, 2015 (early submissions), October 15th, 2015 (regular submissions)
  • Conference Fee Payment Deadline: November 15th, 2015

*Early submissions may benefit authors requiring early decision notification for funding or visa purposes

Details of Activities & Relevant Dates

Jan. 6th, 2016: Registration at Nürtingen-Geislingen University starting at 3:30 PM. Campus/city tour (4 PM), and Cocktail Reception at 6 PM.
Jan. 7th & Jan. 8th, 2016: All-day presentations, coffee breaks, lunch, dinner, and cultural activity.
Jan. 9th, 2016: IBEC 2017 mid-morning planning committee meeting & organized tour. Organized tour (January 9th) may include a visit to the Museums in Stuttgart city center and other activities. These activities are optional and will include extra costs for participants. Additional information will be provided as the conference approaches.

Payment Instructions and Payment Form

A Paper-Presenting Professional or Academician: US $ 350

A Paper-Presenting Student: US $ 200

A “Guest” Participant or Observer with no paper presentation: US $  100

An Observer not sponsored by Presenting Author: US $  285

These fees will cover the conference welcoming reception, lunch, dinner, and cultural activity. Conference fees can be paid online by credit card only after an acceptance notification has been received by authors.

Conference Fee Payment Deadline is November 15th, 2015.
