Buddhist Society Summer School, 20 - 27 August 2016

The annual Summer School, consisting of one residential week, will expound all major aspects of the Buddha’s teachings and their practice. The organic relatedness of all the teachings will be explored, with special emphasis on their practice and application in our time. It presents a unique opportunity to get the authentic flavour of the Buddha’s ancient path and guidance in how to walk it. The Summer School is designed so that practitioners of all schools as well as newcomers should benefit from it. Everyone is welcome and the friendly atmosphere of ‘all on the same path’ makes this week a valuable experience.

The Royal Agricultural University is located in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold countryside on the outskirts of Cirencester. The attractive university campus occupies 35 acres with extensive grounds and gardens. There is plenty of free time during the week to explore the countryside. The accommodation consists of single rooms with shared shower facilities and single and double rooms with en-suite facilities. All meals are provided, with a choice of vegetarian or meat, as well as tea and coffee during breaks.
