SPHS Fieldwork Grant (for Hellenic Studies in Turkey & the Black Sea)
Eligibility Summary
Undergraduate or postgraduate students based at a UK HEI accepted as participants in a fieldwork project in Turkey or the region of the Black Sea littoral, that relates to Hellenic studies (in its widest sense).
Application Requirements & Eligibility
It is essential that applicants read the notes of the accompanying word document that presents the details and conditions of the fellowship before completing the online application.
Support is available to enable an undergraduate or postgraduate student to participate in a fieldwork project, in Turkey or the region of the Black Sea littoral, that relates to Hellenic studies (in its widest sense). The applicant must be based at a UK HEI.
Applications for the SPHS must be supported by one referee. Note that you are responsible for ensuring that referee submits the reference by the closing date of the application. Electronic references only will be accepted. The Institute will not contact the referee. Lack of a reference will disadvantage an application.
In addition, the BIAA requests a letter confirming participation to the fieldwork project from the project management team. This letter will have to be obtained by the applicant and a scanned copy will be uploaded during the online application process.
