Applications are invited for masters merit-based scholarships available for international students at Masdar Institute. This is a fully-funded merit scholarship leading to a Master’s degree in one of Masdar Institute’s eight engineering concentrations. Scholarship recipients focus on research and planning for a new sustainable technology business based either on their own ideas or ideas they adopt at the Institute. Eligibility:
-A relevant undergraduate degree in the fields of science, engineering or information technology
-A minimum CGPA of 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) or equivalent (2nd class upper in the British system)
-A minimum GRE Quantitative score of 155 (700 on the old scale).
-A minimum TOEFL score of 91 (Internet based) or equivalent paper/computer based TOEFL, or a minimum academic IELTS score of 6.5.
Scholarship Open for International Students: International students can apply for these merit-based scholarships.

Aspiring young entrepreneurs are invited to apply for the BP Innovation Scholarship, for which two students are selected each year. This is a fully-funded merit scholarship leading to a Master’s degree in one of Masdar Institute’s eight engineering concentrations. Scholarship recipients focus on research and planning for a new sustainable technology business based either on their own ideas or ideas they adopt at the Institute. When possible, BP Innovation Scholars are encouraged to participate in forming a startup company before graduation. Based on a review of the business plan, a grant or other financial support toward the cost of forming a new company may also be awarded.
Number of award(s): Up to two merit-based scholarships are awarded each year.
