Black and White Photo Contest Rome

Do you ever dream in black&white?

Candidates are called to enter their images in ANALOGUE or in DIGITAL format. Digital pictures will not necessarily have to be shot with cameras (as also pictures shot with any digital device will be accepted).

ROME will be both the departure and the arrival of the context as the first prize winners of Black and White International Photo Contest 2016 will be awarded trip and/or accommodation in the city.

Through the use of photography’s universal language the Black and White International Photo Contest Award Rome aims to promote the dialogue among different cultures and people.

Furthermore the goal is to enhance on a large scale the divulgation and rediscovery of black and white art, a source of beauty and evocative power able to give immortality to images and to express every day life intensity and feelings.

Categories

• People choice – You may submit 1 picture.
• Best photo sequence – Candidates will enter a minimum of 3 photos to a maximum of 6.
• Best single shot – Candidate may submit 1 picture or up to 3 pictures at the special discounted entry fee of 20 Euros.
• Best instant photography (analog only) – Candidate may submit 1 picture.

Prizes

• 1st PRIZE – Seven days/ six nights in a three stars class hotel accommodation in Rome
  Colosseum/Roman Forum guided tour OR 1,000 Euros Cash
• 2nd PRIZE
  • For Best Single Shot – Best Instant: 500 Euros Cash
  • For Best Series: 700 Euros Cash
• The winners, runner-ups and 1o further photographers will have their images printed and exhibited in a Rome

Entry Fees

Fee per category will account for

• Best Facebook Shot – 10 Euros.
• Best Single Shot – 15 Euros
• Best Series – 20 Euros

Special discounted fees:

• Best Single Shot x3: Candidates entering the Best Single Shot x3 category will be able to submit up to 3 pictures paying the 20 Euros special fee.
• Gold Membership: candidates entering all 4 categories will pay 50 Euros fee.

If applying for more than one categories please specify in the online entry form.

Very important: It is possible to apply only once to each category. However candidates may enter the same work in different categories.

Eligibility

The Black &White International Award Rome is open only to photographers, amateurs or professionals, who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence.

How to Enter

1. Go to the “Entry Fees” page on the official website.
2. Choose the package you want to buy.
3. Complete registration form creating your online profile
4. You will be redirected to the Paypal payment page. Proceed to pay.
5. Check your email account. You will receive an entry confirmation e-mail with the verification link to confirm your account.
6. Proceed to log in. Now, in the Log In menu you can see the upload pages for the categories you bought.
7. Upload your photos in every single category page upload you bought.
