Description of the job

Airbus (Blagnac) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 1st September 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Inputs: Market segment evaluations made by external agencies/governmental/non-governmental organisations. Customer and competitor strategies. Stockholder commercial/industrial orientations. Study of new emerging markets.

Your main activities will be the following:

  • Analysing trends, size and evolution of market segments,
  • Analysing the company's position as compared with competitors,
  • Defining product and/or service suitability in terms of marketing deadline and compliance with key success factors.

Outputs: Presentation of strategic plan, to include R&D directives with associated financial prospects. Market reports intended for the Company. Marketing documentation.

Your main activities will be the following:

  • Continuously monitor market segments and analyse trends: status and evolution in terms of products, customers, competitivity and competitors documented via a database,
  • Compare our products and technologies with those of our competitors worldwide and develop appropriate action (R&D, Capex, etc.) to maintain our leading position
  • Identify emerging markets and the associated new technology to be implemented for our products in coordination with design study groups,
  • Prepare arguments to support the decisions in our responses to calls for tender,
  • Provide inputs for marketing tools.

Required skills

You are in the 1st or 2nd year of a Master’s degree or last year of business school
in Commerce/Marketing/Export.

You are proactive, autonomous and have initial experience (internship) abroad if possible.

You enjoy working within a team and have very good communication and interpersonal skills.

You have a meticulous and autonomous approach, good interpersonal skills and are willing to make suggestions.

English: advanced level.
