24 Hour Theatre, 5 December 2015, Yerevan

EVN Community Theatre, the United Nations Office in Armenia and the International Organization for Migration Mission in Armenia in collaboration with the Women’s Support Center and the Women’s Resource Center are presenting three 24 hour theatre performances which will address important issues about domestic violence, gender equality, and trafficking in women, as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign in Armenia. The plays will be performed in Armenian and English.

24 hour theatre is an experimental form of theatre where writers, directors and actors create, rehearse, and perform short, usually between 10-15 minutes, one-act plays that are created in a span of 24 hours. 

After each performance a Q&A will be held in order to create an open space and discuss the presented messages and issues with the audience. Specialists and representatives from the Women’s Support Center, Women’s Resource Center, UNFPA and IOM will be present to answer the questions.
