ISET – The International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University is located in the very heart of Tbilisi. ISET offers a Master’s Program in Economics and its curriculum mirrors the best programs in the U.S. and Western Europe.
All regional students will be invited to study for free during the Math Camp (3 weeks in August) and the first mini-term (8 weeks in September-October 2022).
Tuition and Financial Aid:
TUITION FEE: Annual tuition is $2,400.
Merit-based Scholarships: the top 15 best performing students are eligible for merit-based scholarships up to 80% of tuition. All successful regional students are offered partial scholarships.
Hayk Vardanyan memorial scholarship: the scholarship will fully cover the cost of tuition at ISET’s master’s degree program in economics for ICARE students and graduates.
Outstanding Future Career Prospects:
International Student Exchanges: ISET students have the opportunity to spend a semester at top-rated economics schools, including – Clermont-Auvergne University in France, the Freie Universität Berlin in Germany, the Norwegian School of Economics in Norway, the Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden, among other partner institutions.
Enrollment in Applied Concentrations: in Economic Theory, Energy Economics, Inclusive Growth, Macroeconomic Policy, and Modern Data Analysis.
Employment: 98% of ISET graduates (with the exception of those studying abroad) are currently employed in professional and analytical positions. While the monthly income of ISETers is four times higher than the average salary in Georgia.
Placement in Prestigious Ph.D. Programs: ISET graduates have gone on to pursue PhDs at some of the world’s best universities – with full funding – including Stanford University, the University of Chicago, New York University, Washington University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Warwick, and the University of Leicester, among others.
Teaching Fellows Program: over half of ISET graduates become teaching fellows under a CERGE-EI Foundation (Czech Republic) grant. All fellows receive pedagogical training in Prague and then go on to teach modern, market-based economics across different universities in the region.
