GoAustria Fall Program
The tenth goAustria iteration by the Global Incubator Network Austria (GIN) supported by the 1MillionStartups Conference offers a two-week incubation program with the main focus on startups that are related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The SDGs were set up by the United Nations to face the world’s biggest challenges. The SDGs include the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic, social, and environmental. They offer a new, interlinked understanding of global challenges such as poverty, environmental degradation, inequality, modes of production, consumption, corruption and others.
goAustria Fall 2020 is an exclusive, intensive two-week program running from 31st August to 11th September 2020 for 10 startups and takes place in Vienna, Austria. It will allow participants to explore the Austrian and European markets, as well as to find new investors and collaboration partners in Vienna.
The program includes the participation at the 1Million Startup Conference – a great meeting points for founders, innovation executives and investors. Participating startups will have the chance to expose their ideas to a specialized audience, to meet interesting potential partners and to forge meaningful connections.
Another major asset of the program is the personal startup mentor who will be matched to each startup, supporting it to validate their business model, to network with investors and relevant stakeholders, as well as design an internationalization plan.
UPDATE: Due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the still ongoing travel restricitons, goAustria Fall 2020 will be held digitally. Participating startups will then get the option to come to Austria a later time to meet the contacts they have made through the digital program.
