 Summer School on Investigative Reporting

Investigative Journalism Summer School is a meeting place for professionals looking to upscale their skills, be inspired and refreshed. Over the course of three days, industry leaders will share their trade secrets, the newest tools that make investigations and international cooperation much more effective and powerful.

We all know that they are out there – the bad guys. At the Summer School 2020 you will learn the skills needed to identify them, find them, prove their scams, interview them and relate it all to your audiences on TV or on page. And also – to keep you and your sources safe.

Some examples: Produce a 50 min television story; Clean up massive amounts of dirty data; Boost your Internet research skills; Detect organized crime and corruption; Get uncooperative people to speak out; Write long stories and books; The mindset and tools to keep you safe; Infographics and data visualisation.
