Maghreb Photography Award
You have a photo project realized in one of the countries of the Arab Maghreb (Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya), or in one of the following islamic regions : Egypt, Middle-East, Turkey or Iran ? Do not hesitate, take part in our contest and give your project a chance to be rewarded by professionals and to have a world exhibition.
MPA creates new opportunities to showcase the best photographic work and introduce leading talents to the world of contemporary photography. We celebrate creativity, ambition and support artists to develop and present their work through competition.
Our annual competition is open to everyone, amateurs and professionals alike. The three overall winners, category winners and those that are commended will have their work showcased to a global audience by our media partners.
WHO MAY ENTER
MPA is open to all amateur and professional photographers worldwide. Entrants should be at least 18 years old at the date of entry.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter MPA please visit maghrebphotographyawards.com to register. Simply log onto the website and follow the online instructions to upload images from your computer. When your submission has been completed, you will get an e-mail confirmation.
FILE SIZES
Image files should be uploaded to the site as JPG with 900 pixels along the longest length (minimum 400px) and 72dpi. Please do not include watermarks, borders or signatures on your entry.
CONTEST PRIZES
There are three Title Awards :
- The best photo project from the Maghreb : 500$ in cash
- Maghreb photographer of the year : 500$ in cash
- The best photoproject outside Maghreb* : 250$ in cash

Cash prizes will be paid in USD (US Dollars) via PayPal. Any fees incurred for foreign currency transfers will be deducted from the winning amount.
JUDGING
Entries will be judged by a nominated jury. A panel of experts in photography will each review all entries and select a group of winning entries on the basis of creativity, artistic merit, subject and style.
Individuals whose images are selected as award winners will be contacted between 15th July and 30th August 2020 and asked to provide a high resolution image of at least 2000px wide. This file will be used only to prove the ownership of the image.
COPYRIGHTS
Copyright of the images will remain at all times with the photographer.
USAGE RIGHTS
Images will be used strictly in connection to the awards and will not be used for any other marketing purposes other than to promote Maghreb Photography Awards.
WINNERS LIST
Winners' names will be available online at maghrebphotographyawards.com no later than 1st September 2020.
