AIM AND SCOPE OF THE COMPETITION
It can be said that one of the most important problems of today is environmental problems. Ability to leave a green Earth for our children, to use existing natural resources in the most efficient way, making nature and the environment sustainable, to eliminate the situations causing global warming, zero waste, people make an effort on many issues like clean water and air etc. If this effort can be done individually, it can also be realized socially. However, it cannot be said that this is at a sufficient level and that it is realized by using different channels. Therefore, it can be stated that especially NGOs and Universities should make more efforts in this regard. In addition, thanks to its visibility, which is not used much but has a high impact value when used, awareness of the use of these images on many areas and products, and the attention of the public when used, highlights art / design events. For this reason, it is considered to hold an international poster competition.
Competition, thanks to an international jury to be created, it will be visible and raise awareness in many countries of the world. It will be created from both domestic and international designers working in the field of competition jury, professionally and academically. With the jury's followers, people who want to participate in the contest will be active and the awareness will be provided to a large extent. Also exhibitions to be opened, people who come to watch the exhibitions, distribution and examination of catalogs to be created, even the use of the product as a training material after the competition, will increase the sustainability and impact value of the project.
For this reason, organizing a poster competition in the international media, Opening the exhibition of the first 100 designs selected from here, again, a product catalog is created from the first 100 works and sent to the relevant institutions and organizations, Some of the designs to be selected from 100 works are used in different graphic design products (website, sub-mail design, calendar, postcard, wall painting, totem etc. outdoor advertisements). constitutes the scope of the project. If the exhibition of the first 100 works to be created from the designs is desired, the level of awareness can be increased by opening in different countries and cities.
Turkey's national and one of the university has realized many artistic activities in the international arena "Kutahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design Department" and "Adnan Kahveci Foundation" by their own mission and vision in different areas are institutions have signed many important events. International Organ Donation Poster Contests organized three times can be given as an example.
Based on the reasons stated above, it was seen as a necessity to carry out a “Zero Waste” themed competition on environment, which is one of the important problems of the world, under the leadership of these two institutions.

SCOPE OF THE COMPETITION EXHIBITION
Exhibition, It will consist of the first 100 poster designs selected by the jury within the scope of the competition and in accordance with the purpose of the competition. The Organizing Committee is authorized to raise this number up or down, if it deems necessary.
SCOPE OF THE COMPETITION
Competition, about “Zero Waste” to raise awareness and maintain this awareness; “Zero Waste” to remind the individuals what their responsibilities towards the environment are; It includes raising awareness of why we should attach importance to “Zero Waste” to leave a green Earth for future generations.
COMPETITION AND EXHIBITION PROGRAM
Submission of poster designs to the competition begins 2 February 2020, ends on 1 May 2020. ‘’The 1st International Zero Waste Poster Competition” will be announced later by the Organizing Committee. The projected exhibition date is June 5, 2020 to mark the World Environment Day.
PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT EXHIBITION
The top three award winners, to participate in the award ceremony, transportation, transfer, accommodation and food expenses are at the discretion and responsibility of the Adnan Kahveci Foundation.
AWARDS OF THE COMPETITION
Documents will be given by “Adnan Kahveci Foundation” with 1st prize of the competition, 1 second and 1 third award.; responsibility belongs to Adnan Kahveci Foundation. Distribution of Awards:
1. 1st prize 10,000 TL and Certificate of Achievement (First Prize)
2. 2nd prize 5.000 TL and Certificate of Achievement (Second prize)
3. 3rd prize 3.000 TL and Certificate of Achievement (Third Prize)
4. 4th prize 1.000 TL and Certificate of Achievement (Jury special prize)
5. 5th prize 1.000 TL and Certificate of Achievement (Jury special prize)
6. 6th prize 1.000 TL and Certificate of Achievement (Jury special prize)
7. 7th prize Organizing Committee Award and Certificate of Achievement
8. 8th prize Organizing Committee Award and Certificate of Achievement
9. 9th prize Organizing Committee Award and Certificate of Achievement
10. 10th prize Organizing Committee Award and Certificate of Achievement
Award winners, The award will be announced at the award ceremony to be held at the place and date to be decided by the Organizing Committee, and the amount of the award will be deposited into the account of the award winners within 30 days following the award ceremony.
