Calls for application for PhD scholarships, postdoc fellowships and visiting professorships (including industrial scholarships/fellowships)
One of the main objectives of the DDA is to recruit outstanding national and international PhD students, postdocs and visiting professors within the field of diabetes in open and free competition.
Calls 2019/2020:
- 25 November 2019: Call for applications for two-year industrial postdoctoral fellowships and three-year industrial PhD scholarships. Application deadline: 23 January 2020. See calls below for further information.
- 13 December 2019: Call for applications for seven 2/3-financed PhD scholarships, three two-year and three three-year postdoctoral fellowships and up to four visiting professorships. Deadline for application: 6 February 2020.
- 10 June 2020: Call for applications for six 2/3-financed PhD scholarships, one two-year and three three-year postdoctoral fellowships and up to four visiting professorships. Deadline for application: 20 August 2020.
Statement from the DDA Board of Directors regarding grants allocations in December 2018
The DDA Board of Directors has conducted an evaluation of the DDA grants allocation of PhD scholarships, postdoc fellowships and visiting professorships in December 2018. Based on the evaluation, the DDA Board of Directors has decided to take steps to implemt a number of initiatives in connection with the DDA grants allocation with call for applications on 14 June 2019 (see above) and allocation of grants in December 2019. Calls for applications for support for workshops
Another main objective of the DDA is to serve as a national hub within diabetes, unifying academia, hospitals and the life-science industry in Denmark.
