Awards and Grants

Travel Grants sponsored by the DGPF and EuPA
The support of young scientist is one of the major interests of the DGPF and EuPA. Therefore, several activities are planned for young scientist at Proteomic Forum 2019 in Potsdam. Besides the Young Investigator Awards (YIA) there will be an Educational Day allowing not only young scientist to learn more about Proteomics or to discuss practical questions about mass spectrometry etc. Additionally, the DGPF and the EuPA decided to give young scientist the chance to participate at the Proteomic Forum 2019 by each offering 10 travel grants (500 EUR) to young scientists.

To receive one of the travel grants, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Application details for the DGPF travel grant
• applicant must be 33 years or younger
• submit an abstract to Proteomic Forum 2019
• send a short application letter to eupa@conventus.de indicating your abstract ID until 1 January 2019

Application details for the EuPA travel grant
• submit an abstract to Proteomic Forum 2019
• send a short application letter to eupa@conventus.de indicating your abstract ID until 1 January 2019
• last achieved degree ≤ 7 years

Young Investigator Awards
Young Investigator Awards (YIA) will be granted for excellent abstracts of young investigators. To be categorized as a young scientist, you need to be younger than 33 years by 24 March 2019. Applicants must register for PROTEOMIC FORUM 2019, submit an abstract indicating that they wish to compete for one of these awards and must present their material personally at Proteomic Forum 2019.

Please provide your CV to eupa@conventus.de by 16 December 2018.

Poster Prizes
All posters can compete for will be awarded at Proteomic Forum 2019. The evaluation will take place on site by an independent committee. Poster prize candidates will be informed about the status of their poster on site and are kindly asked to attend the award ceremony on Wednesday, 27 March 2019.
