Padova Scholarship Program for International students
Starting from a.y. 2018/19, the University of Padova will offer a selected number of full scholarships to highly talented prospective students wishing to pursue a first-cycle or second-cycle degree taught in English at Padova. The scholarship programme is highly selective. Only candidates showing the highest achievements and school / academic records may receive a scholarship. The successful scholars will be expected to fulfil an ambassadorial role and represent the University at a number of events.
Who can apply
highly talented prospective international students from all over the world wishing to enrol in one of University of Padova first-cycle or second-cycle degree courses held in English, To be eligible, you must:
- have a non-Italian nationality
- hold a non-Italian secondary school diploma (for first-cycle degree applicants) or a non-Italian first-cycle / Bachelor diploma (for second-cycle / Master degree applicants)
- have been admitted to one of University of Padova degree courses taught in English
- not benefit of other national or international scholarships or grants.
- be able to comply with the conditions for obtaining an Italian visa
Please Note: Failure to meet one or more of these criteria automatically means that you are not eligible for this scholarship.
How to apply: you can apply for the scholarship directly when completing the application form of the chosen Degree Course
When to apply: you should submit the application by the deadline indicated in the Call for Application (Avviso di Ammissione) of the chosen course
Amount of scholarship: max. tuition fee-waiver + euro 12.000 scholarship (gross amount). An additional scholarship (euro 7500 - gross amount) is offered for the second-cycle degree course in Forest Science
Duration of scholarships: scholarships will be offered for 1 academic year. They might be renewed for the second (and third) year upon certain conditions (academic achievements, etc.). Further information will be available soon.
Selection criteria: eligible candidates are selected for a scholarship on the basis of their academic excellence and promise in the proposed field of study; academic quality and results of the preceding education, etc. The highest candidate in the rankings of each degree course will be awarded the scholarship.
