Lilit Darbinyan is a first generation Luys scholar to be granted the Luys scholarship to pursue graduate studies at the University of Oxford in 2009-2010. The subject area being Computer Science, her main focus areas during the year were Artificial Intelligence and Computational Linguistics.
Prior to Oxford, Lilit has been a student at Yerevan State University, faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics, and has completed the degree with honors. Parallel to her undergraduate studies she has been gaining professional experience as a software developer in a German online company.
After receiving her Master’s degree at Oxford Lilit has been offered the position of a financial software developer at Bloomberg London, the world’s leading financial company nowadays. She will start this new and exciting phase of her life in Bloomberg in November 2010.
