YOUTH INVOLVEMENT AND RESPONSE TO ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES
In mid‐March in GeorgiaCENN is hosting an international workshop on ‘Youth Response to Environmental Challenges: Climate Change and Natural Disaster Mitigation’. By bringing together various perspectives and by promoting an interactive discussion, the workshop will provide useful insights on the role of communities in environmental challenges. At this point CENN is welcoming applications from young people aged between 18 and 30, from countries within the Black Sea and Caspian Sea regions.
Only limited number of participants will be invited to the workshop. Their travel expenses and
accommodation will be organized and covered by CENN. Preference will be given to English speaking
participants, but attempts will be made to provide translation to those lacking English skills.

CENN ‐ Caucasus Environmental NGO Network ‐ is a non‐governmental, regional organization established in 1998
and specialized in the fields of institutional strengthening, environmental research and policy, resources
management, compliance management and communication and environment.
Since its establishment, CENN has worked at the local, national and regional levels in the Caucasus region. CENN
believes in cooperation in the context of environmental issues.
