12th Montreal International Black Film Festival ( MIBFF)
The 12th Montreal International Black Film Festival ( MIBFF), taking place from September 27 to October 2 2016 , is proud to launch the 3 rd edition of its great international poster contest !
From the Caribbean to the Indian Ocean, Africa to North America, via Europe and South America, MIBFF wants to share its most striking black cinematic discoveries while engaging in a wider cultural, social and socio-economic debate. MIBFF has become today’s largest black film festival in Canada. It is a dynamic, bold and innovative festival that fosters the development of the independent film industry and which offers a new and refreshing look on a growing, rich and original film industry.
Are you a graphic designer, artist, illustrator, poster designer or photographer who loves film and diversity? Are you creative, open-minded or imaginative? Send us your poster proposals for the 12th edition of the Montreal Black Film Festival by filing in the form below.

Format required for pre-selection: low resolution JPG (2-3 MB)

THE AWARDS
The MIBFF will award a prize of $500 (Canadian dollars) to the winner.
PLEASE NOTE, that by submitting a poster project, YOU implicitly AGREE with all of the Contest Rules and Conditions.
USE
The winning poster will be featured in all communications and publicity for MIBFF’s 12th edition. It will be used for all media and press purposes, including promotional materials, interviews, press conferences, etc.
FINAL FORMATS
The official festival poster will produced in a range of formats (width x height):
4 x 6 feet; 27 x 40 inches; 24 x 36 inches; 18 x 24 inches; 7 x 9 inches etc.
