The Imagine Center for Conflict Transformation, the Caucasus Edition, and the Center for Independent Social Research – Berlin are inviting you to apply for the project “Joint Platform for Realistic Peace in the South Caucasus”. Applications are encouraged form analysts, journalists, and scholar-practitioners with advanced skills in research, journalistic inquiry, and analytic writing from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine.

The project will start with a Dialogue and Visioning Workshop in Georgia in March 2017. The Dialogue and Visioning Workshop is a space to openly and constructively discuss conflicts, develop a shared analysis and an understanding of them as joint problems to be resolved collaboratively.

Components of the Dialogue and Visioning Workshop include but are not limited to:

  • dialogue addressing constructively the history and the present-day dynamics in the wider region;
  • conflict transformative analysis and policy generation contributing to the development of inclusive societies, human rights, and anti-discrimination;
  • impactful writing and advocacy, strategies for promoting alternative discourses.

Following the Dialogue and Visioning Workshop, the participants will be invited to collaborate in producing joint analytic articles and policy papers on themes intended to influence conflict narratives and policy making, outlining a vision for the transformation of the conflicts in the wider region, and the development of inclusive and democratic societies

The deadline for applications is Thursday, February 9, 2017. The short-listed candidates will be contacted by the project team to discuss the specific area of analytic or journalistic interest of the applicant.
