VISAGE brings you Student’s Photography exhibition and competition 2016. Students are invited to submit photographs showing gender challenges in achieving gender equality. Submissions can be humorous or serious.

We are excited for this year’s Visage Students Photography Competition and Exhibition 2016. Last year we asked you to submit photographs depicting gender equality, this year is slightly different. Students are invited to submit photographs showing gender challenges towards achieving gender equality in the society.

What are the core gender challenges in the society? Who is doing what and why, are the roles different between males and female? Are youths able to reach their goals despite their sexes? Tell us your story through photographs.

Requirement:
The competition is open to every student aged 18-35, from every part of the world. You can participate by submitting up to three pictures of your best choice that illustrate gender challenges in your community.
NB:
I. Please submit your photographs in high-resolution JPEG format so that they can be printed in high quality.
II. The photograph must not contain inappropriate materials.
III. The photographs need to be of high quality at least dmi 300, however you can upload up to size MB7.

The deadline:

The competition is now open till 30th April and the winner will be announced on the 27th May. The Visage Students Photography Competition and Exhibition 2016, is open until 30th April 2016 at 6pm (CET).

The Prize:
1st winner 300 euros, a certificate of participation, a silver membership to VISAGE, a winning photography will be published in a Human Rights Magazine based in Vienna.
2nd Winner: 200 Euros, a certificate of participation, a silver membership to VISAGE, a winning photography will be published in a Human Rights Magazine based in Vienna.
3rd Winner: 100 euros, a certificate of participation, a silver membership to VISAGE, a winning photography will be published in a Human Rights Magazine based in Vienna.
4th Winner: a certificate of participation, a winning photography will be published in a Human Rights Magazine based in Vienna.
5th Winner: a certificate of participation, a winning photography will be published in a Human Rights Magazine based in Vienna.

We provide our best 50 participants with an opportunity to exhibit their photographs in an exhibition at Afro Asiatic Institute in Vienna.
