QAAFI PhD Scholarship
The Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI) is a unique UQ research institute, comprised of three frontline centres, which was formed as a strategic alliance between The University of Queensland and the Queensland Government. Queensland’s agricultural Research and Development capability ranks among the best in the world, with The University of Queensland (UQ) a leader in agricultural research in Australia and globally.
Up to four fully-funded equivalent QAAFI PhD Scholarships (QPhDs) is available to domestic and international students enrolled in QAAFI at the full-time base RTP stipend rate (Australian Government’s Research Training Program). The QPhDs will be awarded in line with the UQ Graduate School’s competitive scholarship rounds.
The QPhDs provides a living allowance and a tuition fee offset scholarship. For international applicants who will study in Australia on a student visa, the QPhDs also includes an allowance for single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
Selection criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- UQ Graduate School's PhD eligibility requirements
- Meet the UQ Graduate School’s living scholarship requirements and be nominated by prospective Principal Advisor for a UQ Graduate School Scholarship
