University of Michigan-Flint Scholarship Programs 2019/20, USA

FRESHMEN MERIT SCHOLARSHIP:

The University of Michigan-Flint offers renewable freshmen merit scholarships ranging from 3000 USD to 7000 USD to students who meet the scholarship requirements. The minimum requirements for scholarship eligibility are

  • High school GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale 
  • 24-ACT OR 1160-SAT (1090 combined Critical Reading and Mathematics on the old SAT).

No separate application is required and scholarships are renewable up to 4 years. You must submit qualifying ACT or SAT scores to UM-Flint before the start of the semester to which you have been admitted in order to qualify. 

Only official ACT/SAT scores can be used for consideration of this scholarship. 

  • SAT scores must be sent to the university through CollegeBoard. 
  • ACT scores should be sent to the university through ACT.org

GLOBAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP:

The University of Michigan-Flint offers partial scholarships ranging from 1000 USD - $4500 USD to qualified incoming undergraduate international students. These scholarships are only awarded to students who apply for admission to the Fall term. In order to be eligible for priority scholarship consideration, students must submit their complete application, including all required supporting documents, by March 1st. There is no separate scholarship application and applicants will automatically be considered for a scholarship.
