3rd International Doctoral Summer School in TESOL and Applied Linguistics
Focus: The 3rd International Doctoral Summer School offers doctoral students in TESOL and Applied Linguistics the opportunity to further develop their research skills, fine-tune their own projects and learn about a range of contemporary key issues in the field. The Summer School will give participants the confidence to engage in leading discussions and studies as researchers operating within the global context of the TESOL and Applied Linguistics community.
Minimum Education Level: PhD
Description: The workshops and seminars forming part of the Summer School will be facilitated by a number of international academics. These include Dr Pascual Pérez-Paredes (University of Cambridge), Dr Judith Hanks (University of Leeds), Dr Kata Csizér (Eötvös Loránd University), and Dr Philip Durrant (University of Exeter), as well as Dr Odette Vassallo and Dr Daniel Xerri from CELP.

Registration Instructions: In order for students to be eligible to attend the Summer School, they will need to be enrolled on a Doctoral Programme in TESOL or Applied Linguistics at a Higher Education Institution. Applications from students about to begin a Doctorate might also be accepted. Applicants need to submit a 250-word statement of motivation explaining why they wish to take part and what they hope to gain from participating in the Summer School.
