The ‘Feel the Face’ Photography Contest

NOTED PHOTO are excited to introduce our ‘Feel with the Eye’ contest series; a series of photography contests for professionals and enthusiasts alike who share our passion for photography.

Each contest within the ‘Feel with the Eye’ series will have different topic, but will follow the theme of capturing emotional and captivating images. We are asking for images that need no further explanation, those that speak to the heart and the eye, creating an instant reaction that we can all immediately relate to. The ‘Feel the Face’ contest is all about the photographer’s ability to capture the human portrait. In a world of selfies and snapchat, the real art of capturing an emotional portrait is becoming lost, and the‘Feel the Face’ photography contest is a chance to bring it back. This contest is about portraying visual human emotion, creating captivating images of real people, and showing us the beauty that can be seen in another’s face. The photographer can interpret this contest brief however they want, however the subject of their photograph should be either directly or indirectly related to the face.

ENTRY

Participants can submit just 1 photograph per registration, choosing to submit the image they feel is most appropriate for the contest. Two winners will be selected for the ‘Feel the Face’ photography contest. One will be chosen by the NOTED PHOTO team, and the other will be voted for by the public. Public voting will open after the final submission deadline, so be sure to share your entry across social media so that as many people can vote for you as possible.

Contest is open for all regardless of their location or nationality. No professional qualification is required.\

PRIZES

2 winning proposals and 6 honourable mentions will be selected. NOTED PHOTO contest organisers will award a US $3,000 in prize money to contest winners as follows:

Jury Favorite - US $2,700
Public Favorite (most votes) - US $300

The winners will get international media coverage and will be featured on the NOTED PHOTO website and social networks. NOTED PHOTO contest organisers will also acknowledge the outstanding performance of all winners and honourable mentions with Certificates of Achievement.
