"Nouveau talent" is a comix competition held as part of the BDFIL, the International Comix Festival in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Who may enter
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 15 whose work has never been published in the form of an album or regularly in a large-circulation newspaper or magazine.
Theme
The theme of the competition is “Migration(s)”. This theme may be freely interpreted.
Entry
You may submit a complete comic story, on one (1) board, with or without text. The comic story should be presented on a plate in the A3 format (29.7 x 42 cm maximum) and in the French format (vertical).
Entry fees
The competition requires no entry fee.
Prizes
• 1st prize: CHF 2,000 (approx. € 1,800)
• 2nd prize: CHF 1,500 (approx. € 1,350)
• 3rd prize: CHF 1,000 (approx. € 900)
• Special prize: CHF 1,000. (approx. € 900)
