Tutor´s bio: Victoria is a great English lecturer. She is teaching English courses for individuals, groups and company staff at SAP, Avast, UniCredit, Penta and Alliance. She was born in Scotland, studied Arts there and received her CELTA certificate in Australia where she had spent more then 2 years of her life.

With globalisation and internationalisation, business is becoming more and more widespread, thus creating a great challenge for businesses in terms of communication. Managers, marketers, salespersons and other employees need to communicate with other people, often of different nationalities. In order to be successful, common English is no longer enough. You have to know how to lead a meeting, how to write a good professional letter or which words to use while negotiating terms of a contract.
On top of that, finding a good job nowadays is not an easy task and usually the hardest part is to pass and score well at a personal interview in English. Feeling confident during the interview is crucial.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 – 14:00
Credits: You will receive an official Certificate of Attendance upon completion of your course which you may use to show evidence of the skills you have learnt during the course and have the credits accepted by your home university.
Price: All course materials and organization of afternoon and evening activities are included in the Course fee. You will also receive a Welcome and a Goodbye drink. There is a 50EUR application fee for all students registering after 15.5.2015 from countries outside Czech and Slovak republic. Trips and special activities such as boat parties, trips to NP Krka, or water sports equipment rentals are at an extra cost. PREREQUISITES
English level B1-B2 needed.

SYLLABUS
In the first week of the course the participants will learn how to sound polite and interested in a formal as well as informal context, practising small talk. They will also practise useful skills they will need in work environment, such as telephoning, negotiating skills and presentation skills. They will have the chance to see good and bad examples and to practise the skills in a simulated situation.
In the second week the participants will be working on increasing their career prospects. They will create their CVs and learn how to write an interesting, concise but catchy cover letter as well as how to write a formal email to the prospective employer. Last but not least they will learn what to say and what not to say in a job interview and they will role play the situation.
So when the course finishes the participants will be prepared to start the job search with good prospects.
