The Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Law of the Autonomic University of Madrid (UAM) are pleased to present the Summer School ‘Economic crisis and free competition in global markets’ that will take place on 12th – 14th July 2017 in Madrid.

The aim of the Summer School is to familiarise the participants with the recent legal developments, the new literature and the methods used to evaluate the business practices in the context of the Competition Law and Economics. The Summer School also wants to establish a coherent link between the new theories and the daily work of professionals, allowing participants to face the essential issues of their work in a more economic and legally informed way.

The Summer School provides a comprehensive description of the more up-to-date developments in the finance theory, empirical analysis, legislation and policy in the areas of Competition law and Regulation. The participants would engage a vibrant community of students and experts from all over the world. The Course will be taught by professors and consultants who work in companies, government ministries or international organisations specialised in the field.
