“SPARKS”: A trace of an intense feeling.
A small fiery particle that has the potential to create a major conflagration. OR, perhaps just a little spark of an intense feeling. Just a twinkle in the eye. Photographs that excite, that move you, that have an impact.
You are invited to enter a juried photography exhibition presented by the Marin Society of Artists in their new gallery at 1515 Third St, San Rafael, CA.
Prizes
- First Prize: $500.
- Second: $200.
- Third: $100
- Plus several non monetary prizes
Eligibility
Open to all California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Idaho State resident artists 18 and over. You are invited to submit digital images of up to five (5) of your original works, not previously shown in a Marin Society of Artists juried exhibition.
The Theme
SPARKS - Photos that show a trace of an intense feeling. Perhaps just a little spark that brings up some deeper emotions. A fiery sunset, a lover’s sigh, or perhaps just a twinkle in the eye. OR perhaps a vision of roaring flames … the possibilities are unlimited.

To enter you must fill in the online application form on the official website.
Entry Fees
Maximum of five entries per artist. Entry fee for Non-members: $35 for one to three entries; $50 for four to five entries. Entry fee for Marin Society of Artists members: $30 for one to three entries; $45 for four to five entries.
