Lens on Social Justice

Independent journalism and a free press are the foundations of democracy. They are critical tools in uncovering truths and building understanding between people, nations, and communities. In our interconnected world, photojournalists play an important role in connecting audiences around the world using the universal language of imagery. By capturing life as it unfolds, photojournalists help add depth and perspective to the events - near and far - that affect our communities and shape our lives. They are visual storytellers and agents of social change whose work can inspire action.

The Prize

One one-hour portfolio consultation and one one-hour critique (for a total of two hours) with VII CO-FOUNDER and CANON MASTERS AMBASSADOR GARY KNIGHT, plus three VII CREATELIVE CLASSES.
