Peace & Conflict Photo Competition

Publish Date: Jun 03, 2015

Deadline: Jun 30, 2015

Peace & conflict in Caucasus through the lens of young photographers.

Are you a casual or professional photographer? Passionate about photography? Does your photo shows an example of peace building or conflict in your region? Then EuCaSa gives you a chance to let your images speak for you!!!

EuCaSa is Brussels based not-for-profit and non-governmental organization, working towards achieving long-term and sustainable peaceful solutions to potential and ongoing conflicts in the Caucasus region. We aim to have an impact on the behavior of individuals, especially young generations, as well as to help build the conditions needed for lasting peace and democracy. Our proximity to the EU institutions in Brussels provides us with a first hand opportunity to engage EU policy makers who share a common goal with us in ensuring a sustainable peace throughout the Caucasus region.

Motto of the European Caucasus House: Home is a place where people feel free, safe and tolerated in spite of different religion, cultural, sexual background. The European Caucasian House aims to be the safe-hold for those seeking more democratic, peaceful and tolerant societies.

For the Peace & Conflict photo competition, the grand jury of experts will select 1st, 2nd and 3rdprize winners who will receive a certificate and small gift package from our partners.

Also, from all entries we select the 20 best photos, which will be part of our Peace & Conflict open air exhibition in July and will be showcased at a subsequent special event in Brussels. The exact date and place of the open air exhibition will be announced in the coming months.
