Novo Nordisk Foundation Project Grants for Art History Research 2017

The Novo Nordisk Foundation aims at making a significant contribution to the field of art history research in Denmark by providing talented candidates with the opportunity to carry out ambitious projects. The Novo Nordisk Foundation hereby calls for applications for research projects within art history. 

ELIGIBILITY

The applicant must work within the field of art history research and be anchored at a university, museum or other knowledge institution in Denmark during the grant period.

FUNDING

The research project can be an independent project or a clearly defined part of a larger project. A total of DKK 2 million is available for funding of: 

  • 1-, 2- and 3-year project grants of DKK 100.000-300.000 per year, with a total of DKK 100.000-900.000 per grant.

Applications for funding below DKK 100.000 are not eligible for support.

APPLICATION PROCESS

It is important that the applicant carefully reads the “information and guidelines for applicants”, before initiating the application process, as this document contains the complete call as well as detailed instructions for the application process. 

The application must be completed and submitted using the foundation’s application system, which can be accessed from 29 November 2016. The application can be submitted in either English or Danish.
