Job Description
BetConstruct is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer, who will be responsible for doing development and maintenance of our front end client betting software and JavaScript based mobile solutions.
Job Responsibilities
-Coding in JavaScript concerning cross-browser compatibility
-Implementing interactive JavaScript applications
-Integrating JavaScript with front-end HTML and CSS code
-Integrating JavaScript with PHP / XML RPC / JSON RPC back ends
-Unit testing JavaScript code
-Working with Q/A and Troubleshooting JavaScript issues
-Collaboration with other developers
Job Requirements
-A Computer Science degree or related work experience
-Excellent Russian written, verbal and communication skills
-Good English written, verbal and communication skills
-2+years of extensive experience in Web development, including coding of semantic HTML/XHTML, CSS-driven layouts
-Familiarity with AngularJS framework
-Ability to follow coding standards and design robust applications using best practices
-Experience in creating rich JavaScript applications
-Experience in developing solutions for a Cross-browser audience
-Familiarity with DOM scripting, including HTML, Ajax
-Proficiency employing version control – Subversion/Git
Good to have:
-Exposure to developing for handheld devices (PhoneGap/jQuery Mobile)
-Good understanding of HTTP protocol
-Functional programming experience is a big plus
-Able to work well under pressure in a task/module oriented project team environment
-Excellent organization and time management skills
-Experience with Agile development/SCRUM is a big plus
-Experience in Test Driven Development is a big plus
-Some knowledge of Photoshop
-SQL knowledge is a plus
