Russian-Armenian University invites applications for a full-time position in Information Technology Department at the rank of Head of the Department.

Requirements:

1. Graduate in IT.
2. Work experience 5 years at least.
3. The age 45 years.
4. Knowledge of professional English language.

Responsibilities:

1. Development of information strategy for all areas of the University activities in close relationship with the structural units of RAU (institutes, departments, chairs and so on.)
2. Development, planning and implementation of specific measures to ensure implementation of the strategy in all University activities area.
3. Providing technical and software performance of the University information system.
4. Providing protection and confidentiality of official information of network users, the organization of its backup.

5. Ensuring organization of qualification improvement process of the teaching staff and specialists within the University using Information Technology in teaching, management and other activities (eg., training courses in MOODLE system, which is especially important now).
6. Study of educational software market, of new information technologies used in the educational process.
7. Study and generalization of information practices in other educational institutions, the implementation of new information technologies in University activities.
8. Implementation of distance learning system, electronization of the educational process, ensuring the availability of RAU educational resources for network users.
9. Creation and implementation of new electronic educational products.
