Conf/CfP - Technology Innovation and Learning Technology (ICTILT 2016)

Publish Date: Sep 30, 2016

Deadline: Sep 30, 2016

Event Dates: from Dec 27, 2016 12:00 to Sep 30, 2016 12:00

ABOUT

This conference covers a wide range of fields in science and engineering innovation and aims to bring together engineering technology expertise. The professional from the industry, academia and government to discourse on research and development, professional practice, business and management in the science and engineering fields are welcome to the ICTILT 2016. This conference enables interdisciplinary collaboration between science and engineering technologists in the academic and industrial fields as well as networking internationally.

A new wave of technologies is disrupting innovation in the education sector now more than ever before. Phenomena and technologies such as learning analytics, cloud computing, maker spaces, 3-D printing, wearable technologies, cognitive profiling and augmented reality are just a few examples that have seen early adopters bringing new hope and optimism to the debate about the usefulness and relevance of new technologies and learning support. At the same time, new standards are also emerging with the intention of bringing these innovations to a level where they are widely accepted and sustainable. Such rapid growth of the field is not without mixed blessings, as it changes the ways that people access, design, deploy and support learning, posing challenges for educational organizations, researchers, practitioners and policy makers, especially with regard to the development of advanced technologies that accommodate the needs of a new generation of learners and a changing social environment. The choice of appropriate technologies and their application in emerging learning contexts are huge challenges for 21st century learning technologists.

Types of Contributions

Authors can contribute on ICTILT 2016 in many forms :

Authors can present their contributions in different modalities: in person (either oral or poster presentation) or virtually (not attending authors) OR Only as Listener.

Attending in person as Oral presentation:

Each presentation will least 35 – 45 minutes  and will be presented in parallel thematic sessions. You will be informed about the reference of your session  and the time of your presentation about 2 weeks before the event. If you have any personal restriction  to present your paper in a specific date, please send us an email with your request as  soon as possible.

Attending in person as Poster presentation:

Your poster will be exhibited  during the conference poster session. Poster sessions will provide an opportunity for authors to display the results and conclusions of their papers. Authors are offered to present their works face to face to individuals and small groups.
