Categories:
The Contest is completely open with no limitation on content, form, or subject matter; yet complete PC drafting is forbidden. Both singles and serial photos are accepted.
Entrants shall submit their works according to two categories: Documentary and Fine Art.
A. Documentary: Works that objectively record social life, natural and ecological environment, as well as folk customs are accepted. There should be no additions or deletions, while modest adjustments in tone or color are accepted on condition that no violation to the integrity of the original content is done. Colored photos can be converted to monochrome (including black and white) completely, not partially.
B. Fine Art: Works that express aesthetic interest and subjective emotions are accepted. Modest adjustments to photos are accepted. Composite or collage photos are not welcome.

Note: All the cash awards are before tax, and the organizer will withhold and remit tax. Winners of the Special Collection Award are to accept the award at Global Photography headquarters with a valid ID. (All expenses incurred shall be borne by the award winners.)
Entry Fees:
The Contest does not charge any fee to foreign entrants (who have no Chinese nationality).
Special Notes:
1.Photo(s) accepted will be exhibited on http://en.g-photography.net for a 10-day publicity ( Beijing local time, or GMT+8) while a mailbox is set for real-name supervision.
2.To ensure the fairness and justice of the Contest, photos will be evaluated by both domestic and overseas judges. Each judge will give his/her remark about the award-winning works, and the committee will publicize these remarks to ensure the fairness and justice of results.
3.After publicity, the organizing committee will contact the nominees and require a copy of the identity card in conformity with registration information as the only valid proof. The organizer reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify the photographers’ photos from evaluation and awards as a result of failure in providing valid proof within granted time or submitting personal information consistent with the original information.
4.To ensure fairness and justice, Global Photography stipulates that staff, jury and their lineal relatives are forbidden to submit photo(s). Upon discovery, they will be disqualified from selection, evaluation and awarding.
5.The organizing committee reserves the right of explaining this notice.
