TU Dresden Institute of Classical Philology Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2018, Germany

The Institute of Classical Philology at the TU Dresden seeks, in  conjunction with the award of an Anneliese Maier Research Prize to  Professor D. L. Cairns, applications for a six-month postdoctoral  research fellowship, tenable at the University of Edinburgh, for the  year 2019, preferably from 1 March to 31 August or 1 April to 30  September 2019.

The fellowship (€ 2,500/month) is aimed primarily at researchers in the  emotional, conceptual and intellectual history of antiquity, especially  those interested in pursuing an independent research project in  association with the Edinburgh ERC project on Honour in Classical Greece  led by Prof. Cairns.

The fellowship is open to all, though early career researchers from  Germany are especially encouraged to apply to apply, as envisaged under  the terms of the award of the Anneliese Maier Prize.
