Recent advances in optical microscopy have transformed neuroscience, providing an unprecedented view of the structure and function of neural systems. 

This conference will explore current developments in microscopy and related biophysical and computational methods for measuring and controlling the nervous system, from molecules to entire neural circuits.

Registration Overview

Note: Accepted applicants to the conference will receive an email following the regular registration deadline of 10 February, containing a link from where they can select their accommodation choice and proceed further with the associated conference registration payment.

Registration includes abstract submission and poster presentation.  
    
By submitting an abstract:
- your application will be considered for a FENS, IBRO-PERC and The Brain Prize stipend (if "Yes" was selected in the "Stipend requested" field)
- you might be asked to present your abstract in the format of a short talk
- you agree to present a poster during the conference
- you are prioritized during the selection process
    
Registration fee includes:
- registration, programme book with abstracts and meeting costs
- all meals, coffee breaks and drinks
- conference Gala Finner (20 April)

* Part of the grant (630, 680 or 750 EUR/depending on the registration fee type) will be used to cover the registration fee of the awardee.
The number of participants to this conference is in the range of 150 participants. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract, although this is not a mandatory requirement for being accepted as participant.

Following the end of regular registration on 10 February 2016, invited participants will receive an email containing detailed information on how to proceed with the payment of registration. Please note that attendance is not guaranteed until the full payment of the registration fee has been confirmed.

The conference starts early afternoon on Sunday, 17 April 2016 and ends with the Gala Dinner onWednesday evening, 20 April 2016.

Accommodation
Please note that the accommodation is not included in the conference registration fee.
Alimited number of single* and shared rooms* have been preliminary booked by the organisers atRungstedgaard and First Hotel Marina** (4 km distance from Rungstedgaard).
Accepted participants will be provided with a link where they can proceed with the booking and payment of the chosen accommodation.

Standard room, single occupancy:                                910 DKK (122 EUR)
Standard room, double occupancy (double bed):         540 DKK (73 EUR/person)
Single occupancy/Park:                                              1.140 DKK (153 EUR)

Stipends

The Brain Prize, IBRO-PERC and FENS offer 15 stipends of 1,000 EUR for international students or early career scientists who attend the conference. Part of the grant (630, 680 or 750 EUR/depending on the registration fee)  will be used to cover the registration fee for the awardee.
To be considered for a stipend, you have to submit an abstract during the online registration. The grant awardees will be selected following the application deadline (10 February 2016), based on the submitted abstract.
