CfP-International Student Conference “Globalization Impact on Trade, Economy and Law”, Republic of Kosovo
University of Prishtina International Student Conference [herein: UPISC] it originates from the self-initiative approach. Namely, students of economics and law faculties had decided to organize UPISC which among other things will promote academical values in an international level. Economical and law topics as the main subject of the conference have been chosen purposely. Students as mentioned above, strongly believe that the globalization is key component for a prosper world, therefore the aforementioned subjects are the two main pillar that either stagnate or advance globalization. As a result, the very first conference of its kind ever held in the University of Prishtina, was decided to be named "Globalization: Impact on Trade, Economy and Law".
In this line, students of University of Prishtina are fully committed to use conferences as means to advance globalization. Additionally, Kosovo as a new country in the international community, more than ever needs co-operation, exchange of ideas, and other related spheres that are essential for a new community to shrink into the international community.
The UPISC is officially supported by Rectorate of University of Prishtina and Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (eventually Ministry of Justice). The academic personnel of University of Prishtina will be responsible for the evaluation of the submitted papers in respect to the topics of UPISC.
In this regard, the UPISC will take place within university facilities during 3-4 May, 2016. International students will be also accommodated within university facilities, and additional sightseeing events around Kosovo will be provided during the other days of staying (2-7 May).
Faculty of Economics in co-operation with Faculty of Law, University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” are organizing the first “International Student Conference” (herein: UPISC’16). It will be conducted solely by its students with the support of academic staff of University of Prishtina.
The main purpose of the conference is to gather students from all over the world, to present and exchange their knowledge and experience, emphasizing their scientific knowledge. UPISC’16 will include 35 international students and 5 domestic students as participants (not essential). UPISC’16 calls for undergraduate, master and postgraduate students from the field of Economics, Law and other relating areas (not older than 30 years).
You are kindly invited to send your research papers, case studies and empirical studies on the following topics, but not limited to:
- Globalization in Emerging Economies
- International Trade Relations Challenges
- Entrepreneurship - a Globalized Tool
- Globalization on Public Administration and E-Governance
- Role of Parliament on the Budgetary Process in Globalization Era
- Impact of Globalization on Constitutionalism / Human Rights / Public Property
- Other Globalization, Trade, Economy and Law Related Topics
Abstracts can be submitted via e-mail to upisc@uni-pr.edu by 01 March 2016 at 12:00 and should contain a clear outline of theoretical framework, the theme or the work in discussion.
We encourage lecturers, instructors and professors to circulate this call widely across your undergraduate students. This will be a unique occasion to visit Kosovo, the heart of the Western Balkans, where you can enjoy the harmony of cultures, harmony of people, religions & the rhythm of diversities. There will be plenty of opportunities for socialization and organized trips. You will have the opportunity to experience life in a different way.
Participating students will be joining fellow students from Kosovo and across the world to debate the different issues in the context of globalization impact on economy, trade and law, in a conference organized by students for students, with the support of staff at University of Prishtina, Faculty of Economy and Faculty of Law.
