Sir Neil Isaac Scholarship
This scholarship supports research on the environment by students studying at the University of Canterbury for a Master's or PhD degree. The Sir Neil Isaac Scholarship in Environmental Science was founded in 2014 by the Isaac Conservation and Wildlife Trust in memory of Sir Neil Isaac (1915-1987), who had a lifelong enthusiasm for enhancing relationships between people and the environment. There can be only one holder of this scholarship at any time.
The scholarship is tenable while the recipient is enrolled full-time in a programme for a Master's or PhD degree at the University of Canterbury, working in environmental science or environmental conservation under the supervision of a member of the University of Canterbury staff.
