The New Cosmos of Photography is a contest sponsored by Canon Inc.
Canon is looking for original photographic works that push the boundaries of creative photographic expression, regardless of size, format (video welcome) or number of constituent items.
You can submit a digital version of your work using the Web application system, or you can submit your physical work by postal mail or courier.
Who may enter
There are no restrictions on nationality, age, gender, or experience (both professional and amateur photographers may enter).
Entry fees
There are no entry fees.
Prizes
• Grand Prize: JPY 1,000,000
• Excellence Awards: JPY 200,000
• Honorable Mention Awards: JPY 30,000
Deadline
Applications for the contest are accepted from Wednesday, April 20, 2016 - Wednesday, June 8, 2016.
Submissions of entries are accepted from Wednesday, April 20, 2016 - Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
