The Agnes K. Missirian Scholarship, totalling $2,000, was established in memory of Bentley College (Waltham, Massachusetts) Professor of Management Agnes Missirian, a strong advocate for women’s rights. An early and enthusiastic supporter of AIWA and its programs to advance the status of Armenian women, Dr. Missirian was a member of the AIWA Board of Directors and chaired the organization’s first international conference, in London in 1994.
