Armenia Model European Union 2016
Armenia Model European Union 2016 is a youth project aiming to increase the knowledge of participants about the interrelations of national and European Union interests, allowing them to experience EU decision-making as representatives of their assigned states and officials of European bodies.
The conference will bring together 120 highly motivated students and young professionals, giving them the exclusive opportunity to have first-hand experience of the functions of EU institutions. The main activity of the initiative is to gather students, youth workers and young researchers around a political simulation conference, giving them roles of members of the European Parliament and foreign affairs ministers to discuss the resolution of controversial issues in accordance with European Union procedures and national interests of each country.
This year’s edition of Armenia Model EU conference will be solely dedicated to the refugee crisis in Europe and the broader concept of migration. The working language of conference is English.
The deadline for submitting application is August 12, 2016, by 23:59 CET.
The event dates: October 7-9, 2016.
The project is funded by the EU Delegation to Armenia.
