Position: Accountant

Contract type: FT (5 days/40 hours per week)

Job Location: Yerevan, Armenia

Main Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform entries of daily transactions to the accounting software (making accounting transactions of creditors, debtors, closing cash advance payments).

  2. Prepare monthly reports for the Pension Fund.

  3. Prepare various invoices and pay-out papers upon the requests for cash disbursement.

  4. Perform entries of tuition fees, check students’ tuition fees, loans with the Registrar’s Office.

  5. Perform entries of Extension course fees and contractual amounts and follow up the consistency of records with the Extension department.     

  6. Follow up to ensure that the copies of the AUA invoices are returned and appropriate payments are made in time.

  7. Keep the book for the delivered goods.

  8. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree.

  • 1-2 years of work experience.

  • Experience with 1C Accounting Software, Spreadsheets, Database Management.

  • Fluency in English and Armenian. Russian is a plus.

  • Ability to work with a variety of constituencies in a fast-paced changing environment.
