Art, Science and Society programme
Each year the Art, Science & Society Programme welcomes researchers and artists involved in experiments at the crossroads of art, research (humanities or exact and experimental science) and museography, with the purpose of fostering linkages between scientific practice and artistic creation so as to open new avenues of reflection and new forms in the fields of research and art.

RESIDENCIES IN PARTNERSHIP
IMéRA’s Art, Science and Society programme is sponsored by the 2 following partners:
MuCEM (Museum of the Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean, Marseille) is a “museum of society” dedicated to the conservation, study, presentation and mediation of the anthropological heritage of the European and Mediterranean area. Also functioning as a forum, it is a place of debate, where reference presentations and temporary exhibitions hinge around major social issues. Our partnership with MuCEM focuses on the relationship between heritage and society.
Residency in partnership with IMéRA/MuCEM
The applicant’s project should relate to issues on heritage and its place in the evolution of European and Mediterranean societies. It should also be in line with MuCEM's methodology and programming orientations.
