AGBU International Scholarships For Students of Armenian Descent 2016-2017

International Scholarship (study in all countries outside US except UK, France, Syria)

January 1-June 1

AGBU offers scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students of Armenian descent (excluding citizens of Armenia studying in Armenia), pursuing study at highly selective colleges and universities outside of the United States, United Kingdom, France &Syria. Applicants must be enrolled in full-time degree programs with a GPA of 3.2 and above, as measured by the American grading system scale. Grants of up to $3,000 USD are awarded annually, and are available for a maximum of three (3) years of college/university education expenses.

Students from outside the US who are pursuing graduate study in the US are not eligible for this scholarship; these students should apply for an AGBU US Graduate Fellowship. Similarly, students from outside the US who are pursuing study in the performing arts or religious studies are not eligible for this scholarship; these students should apply for an AGBU Performing Arts Fellowship (study in all countries except UK)/AGBU Performing Arts Fellowship (study in UK),or AGBU Religious Studies Fellowship, respectively.  Students pursuing study in the United Kingdom, France or Syria should apply for an AGBU International Scholarship for these respective countries.

International Scholarship (study in UK)

January 1-June 1

AGBU offers scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students of Armenian descent (excluding citizens of Armenia studying in Armenia), pursuing study at highly selective colleges and universities in the United Kingdom. These scholarships are administered through the AGBU London Trust.  Applicants must be enrolled in full-time degree programs with a GPA of 3.2 and above, as measured by the American grading system scale. Grants of up to £3,000 GBP are awarded annually, and are available for a maximum of three (3) years toward college/university education expenses.

Students who are pursuing study in the performing arts or religious studies at institutions in the UK are not eligible for this scholarship; these students should apply for an AGBU Performing Arts Fellowship (study in UK) or AGBU Religious Studies Fellowship, respectively.

International Scholarship (study in Syria)

January 1 - June 1

AGBU offers scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students of Armenian descent (excluding citizens of Armenia studying in Armenia), pursuing study at highly selective colleges and universities in Syria. Applicants must be enrolled in full-time degree programs with a GPA of 3.2 and above, as measured by the American grading system scale. Grants of up to $1,000 USD are awarded annually, and are available for a maximum of three (3) years toward college/university education expenses.

Students who are pursuing study in the performing arts or religious studies at institutions in Syria are not eligible for this scholarship; these students should apply for an AGBU Performing Arts Fellowship (study in all countries except UK) or AGBU Religious Studies Fellowship, respectively.

International Scholarship (study in France)

January 1 - September 15

Please note that students applying for the International Scholarship who are pursuing study in France will adhere to a different set of deadlines than students pursuing study in all other countries.

AGBU offers scholarships to undergraduate and some graduate students of Armenian descent (excluding citizens of Armenia studying in Armenia), pursuing study at highly selective colleges and universities in France. Applicants must be enrolled in full-time degree programs with a GPA of 3.2 and above, as measured by the American grading system scale. Grants of up to €1,800 EUR are awarded annually, and are available for a maximum of three (3) years toward college/university education expenses.
