SUMMER SCHOOL

We are pleased to announce Cedar Hill ISD’s summer school plans. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all summer school programs will be held virtually and scholars will either use their district-issued device or one will be provided. The district is offering specific programs during the summer, which will be held Monday through Thursday, June 3-25.
Extended School Year (ESY)
- Extended School Year (ESY) services is an individualized instructional program for eligible students with disabilities that is provided beyond the regular school year. The need for ESY services must be determined on an individual basis by the admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) committee.
Available for special education scholars who qualify

Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

English Learners

Available for kindergarten and first grade scholars who qualify

Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Career & Technical Education

Available for incoming ninth grade scholars

CHISD will reach out to scholars to determine interest in courses
