The Department of Protein Evolution at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Tübingen is seeking to fill a Postdoctoral Position in Computational Molecular Science.
Our research
Our department studies broadly the evolution of proteins by combining computational and experimental approaches, including bioinformatics, protein biochemistry, microbiology, and structural biology. A particular focus lies on problems relating to the transition from a primordial RNA-peptide world to the DNA-protein world observed today. The working language of the department is English.
Your profile
Candidates should hold a PhD in the natural sciences, informatics, or biotechnology, and have a proven record in computational approaches to the study of biological macromolecules (e.g. molecular dynamics analyses, protein design, design of RNA-peptide complexes).
Your application
The Max Planck Society is committed to employing more handicapped individuals and especially encourages them to apply.
Please address your curriculum vitae and supporting materials, including the names of three references by June 30th to karin.lehmann@tuebingen.mpg.de
