International Wine Label Design Competition, Small graphic print competition

The winery of Constantinos Gofas is calling all graphic artists to take part in small print Label design competition for the year 2016 production of “MYTHIC RIVER” White wine which will be held on The Days of Nemea ( between 20th of August to 20th of September. Specific date will be announced by the Municipal of Nemea and all participants will be informed through email until the end of July)

The competition is open to all nationalities , professional and non professional Artists above the age of 18

All printmaking techniques, including digital prints, are accepted.

The art work must contain the logo of ESTATE CONSTANTIN GOFAS. These and the participation form will be available at the following web: www.ktimagofa.gr

The competition is free. Every Artist can submit up to 3 art works and 3 signed prints of each. Participant may base their entries on the theme of their choice, but credit will be given for creativity and the incorporation of the Company’s logo into the design.}

Maximum paper size; 210mm-150mm (A5 size ). Maximum image size 150mm -100mm

The deadline for sending the art works is 20 JULY 2016 ( according to the date of the postmark).In order not to be damaged, the artworks should be thoroughly packed before sending them.

The artworks will be evaluated by a special jury ,the jury will decide he winners and their nominated artwork will be published on the company’s web site. The decision of the jury is final and beyond any appeal.

The competition winners are awarded with Certificates and cash rewards as following:
1st place : 700 euro
2nd place : 300 euro
3d place : sponsors gifts

The winner is invited to attend the event ‘’DAYS OF NEMEA’’ and his/her accommodation will be covered by the sponsor (4 days /nights)

THE WINNER OF THE COMPETITION IS REQUIRED TO PRINT 30 COPIES OF THE WORK AWARDED. (1ST PRIZE ONLY).
PRESENTATION
The artworks should be sent in 3 printed copies, with the following details on the back: A) Given name and surname of the author (B) address (C) email address (D) information of the techniques used (E) year of making (F)opus number and size in mm (height and width )
The works should not be framed or glued on top of anything
The winning original will be the label of 2016 “MYTHIC RIVER” wine bottle.
The artworks and all corresponding rights will become the property of ESTATE CONSTANTIN GOFAS that likewise reserves the right to reproduce the finalists’ work.
All works will be on display from 20th of August till the end of 2016 at the “Constantin Gofas Winery”.
